Please ensure you have checked the dimensions of your hall before booking the planetarium
The presenters need a minimum of 40 minutes either side of the event to assemble/disassemble the equipment
We require use of a large indoor space such as a gym or assembly hall with a flat clean floor which must have the minimum dimensions of 7m by 7m and an overhead clearance of 3.5m (if in doubt please contact us for confirmation)
We will also need access to a standard electrical socket

Remember if you don't have a hall big enough we can still do 'in class' astronomy presentations
We have a wide range of PowerPoint talks, videos and telescope demonstrations that can be tailored to your specific curricular needs with regards the age of the children and the content required
Planetarium capacities (approximate)
Our planetarium can accommodate on average about 40 primary school pupils (with supervising adults), about 30 secondary school pupils (with supervising adults) and about 25 adults but this can be flexible depending upon particular circumstances
We can also accommodate people with disabilities requiring specialised access and wheelchair users
The planetarium has the capacity for about 20 to 25 seats (provided by the venue)
